Great, but run small
I read the reviews saying they ran small and ended up purchasing 2 sizes up. It was the right decision. I am 5'3" and about 130 lbs. I usually wear a size 6, but in these jeans a size 10 fits. They're a little loose in the front hip but I think once washed they will change.

Great Quality, Too Small
LL Bean products usually run large on me. For some reason, these ran tight and short. I started with an 8R but they were too uncomfortable for me. So, I ordered a 10R and although they were better, they still were very snug. I usually wear a 6-8. In addition, for them being Regular, they were Short and I am usually Petite. I am 5'4". My intensions for purchasing these were for the additional warmth for wintertime when we do outside work. If I am uncomfortable in them, I will not wear them. I would prefer to purchase cheaper jeans and put on an extra layer underneath. For the price, they should fit comfortably. Quality is great though, so just size up if you want a comfortable fit.

Cool weather jean
The BeanFlex denim is lightweight and stretchy, good for activities. The flannel lining is ok, makes the jean warmer, but not something for truly frigid weather conditions. I had to go up two sizes since these jeans are now being made in Mexico and run smaller than they did before. I prefer a looser fit for cold weather wear and to leave room for tucking in heavier weight shirts.
