A great watch
My last LL Bean field watch lasted for ten years; I figured it was time for a new one. Perfect watch for me. Simple yet stylish - I wear it everywhere, whether I'm hiking, golfing, working around the house, and when I'm out with friends. Amazing how many people notice the watch, and the compliments that I receive - wasn't prepared for that.

Nice Enough, But...
It is certainly a good looking. The picture watch, keeps accurate time and can be worn with anything. The picture of the watch, however, does not represent the actual watch well. The picture shows a wider bezel, which this watch does not have. The numbers on the watch I received, though readable, are not as bold as those on the pictured watch, nor are the hands. Still nice, but more stylish than rugged.

Great Watch .... But
Love the performance and look of the watch face .... I like the big, readable analog numbers. BUT, the band does not really look and feel like leather and the light-tan color is a bit underwhelming. Would like a darker brown band option and more real leather look and feel.

Watch quit working-after only 3.5 years
Purchased watch in November 2020. Very satisfied with watch until it just quit working. Had battery replaced twice, but still would not work. Only wore watch a few times a year-still looks new-not a mark on it. $150 watch should last longer. Used to buy significant amount of merchandise from LL Bean because of high quality-not so much any more.

Buy this watch for show not for durability
The crystal on this watch cracks. This has occurred on 3 different watches. The warranty on the watch is now 1 years (It was life time). My current watch was out of the 1 year warranty when it cracked. Having said that, everything else on this watch is as advertised. I recommend buying this watch for show.

Nice face,rugged
This watch, like everything else, has become much more expensive over time. But it is nicer than a Timex, with a great, easy to read face; glow in the dark hands; Swiss made; and quite rugged…..I’ll see if the leather band holds up. My only problem with the watch was that it came in a chintzy case where the glue had fallen off (NOT nice). I won’t be keeping that case.

Easy On The Eyes
Easy reader is what I need and this watch does it. The only issue with the one I purchased years ago is it burnt through 3 straps fast. You would think a field watch would have a much longer lasting strap. So now I just keep it as a back up watch. I wanted to wear it every day. Pity. Maybe the newer straps are better. Let me know.
