Warm and Comfortable
I bought this sweater at an L.L.bean outlet in Maine while on vacation. I am thoroughly pleased with the quality and comfort. Mid to heavy weight. I especially love the autumn color. It is a rich rust shade with a slight dark red hue which goes well with tans and browns. I definitely recommend it. I am 5’4 and bought a medium size. It is a good fit.

Softens After Washing
I purchased the charcoal color sweater and almost returned it because the yarn felt stiff and was definitely not cozy. After reading Bean's response to another review, I decided to wash it before wearing. I tumbled it in the dryer until partially dry, then hung it to finish drying. The sweater softened and is now comfortable, one that will see extensive wear. This is a quality sweater, with distinctive knit pattern, and a great addition for fall and winter wear.

Wanted to love this sweater! Instead, I will keep it because it IS very well made but for me it’s a snug fit and not soft. The charcoal color will dress up any garment in my closet, so that’s a true plus!
