Shirt review
I have two of these now, one in tan and one in olive, 2xl tall. Im 6-1, and 250. They are tall, but for me they could be slightly taller as they'll sometimes pull out when tucked in, but for the most part I can't complain. The material is great, smooth, soft, very good for in the field which I use in between the office and field. The material is tougher than a normal shirt and hence the slightly higher cost because of build quality is very good, pleated back for more movement. What I wish though is it to have a collar that buttons so the collar doesn't fly all rampant after a wash, it would make the shirt function better. I LOVE the two pockets! As an engineer in the field I can never find a shirt that looks professional in the office yet I can have a spot for a cell phone, sun Glasses, pen, and small note book, the more pockets the better. Remember this shirt is meant to be used heavy in the field and it's built that way, also it has tight stitching which is good. It washes real well, remember this is not a typical canvas shirt where it has a rough texture where you would need an undershirt this can be worn against your skin and still feels great. Nice shirt would definitely buy again, one of my shirts is 2 years old and the other is 1 month old, same quality in 2 years.

Good looking shirt but...
Nice details but fits small (er) than Beans sunwashed canvas shirts that I am a big fan of. Dont understand why their sizes and fits differ from shirt to shirt. Seems like the same patterns would be provided to the vendors. I'm 6"4, 260. Ordered 2XLT. I wear a XLT Bean pocket LS tee.

Great shirt
This is a great shirt in a great khaki color. LLBean needs to carry more canvas shirts in outdoor earth tone colors of khaki, browns, dark forest greens. Their other canvas shirt colors are not very good and any earth-tone color sells out fast.

Cool Shirt
Excellent heavyweight cotton shirt. I'm 6'4 215lbs. 46" chest, 16.5" neck 36/37" sleeve. XLT fits perfect. Washed once & than dry cleaned & pressed (dont like wrinkkes). No shrinkage. I own over 30 LL Bean shirts & the quality & fit just work for me. Great addition to my collection!

Fantastic Shirt
The reach gussets are great and allow for my full range of arm movements, as though I'm not wearing a shirt. I would like to see LLbean add them to their other canvas shirts as well.
The fabric feels solid and robust, but is also not an overly thick canvas, striking a balance.
LLbean's shirts also fit me very well. I am 6' and slender, so often sleeves are too short, but not for LLbean shirts. "Regular small" fits me just fine without needing a "tall" version.
My biggest wish is that they had more colors for this shirt.
I highly recommend this shirt.

My new favorite shirt!
I was fortunate to be visiting your store in person and just noticed the shirt on a rack in the hunting department. The cloth, color and design and especially the gusseted shoulders spoke to me. On closer inspection I noticed the clean seams and finish…no loose threads! Tried on a size medium. A size large was an easier fit. After one washing it is perfect! My new favorite shirt.

Great shirt for the great outdoors
I absolutely love this shirt. I ordered this shirt to wear out hiking when the temperatures are brisk, but I don't want to get to warm while active. This shirt met and exceeded my expectations. The gusseted shoulders and back allow for a full range of motion while providing ventilation. I ordered additional field shirts after a few hiking trips.

Great Shirt
I usually buy Bean's sunwashed or Beanflex shirts, but I thought I'd give this model a try. As with the rest of them, it's another nice shirt. The thread count is higher with this one snd the fabric is smoother and slightly stiffer, but in a good way. The fit is just right, like the other Bean shirts.

Such a Great Gift

Great shirt!

Kind of a funky fit, would not recommend
I normally wear a Large so went with that. It's a bit big but when I inquired about the Medium fit (which the agent gave a great detailed answer on the # of inches reduction in chest, sleeve, etc.)--but it would definitely be too small. I'm an average size guy @ 6'0" 185 lbs. so I'm not 'too strange' in proportions :).
I'll continue to wear the shirt and see if the material breaks in as it's a bit stiff too but not thrilled with this purchase and let down. I would recommend this shirt to friends.
