Comfort without security
Bought these last summer as a lightweight backup sneaker that wouldn't pinch my toes. First, the shoelaces were far too long and had to be replaced. My feet and toes were comfortable but unsupported. I tried thicker socks (too tight), no socks (too loose) and put them aside to wear in the rain, which I never did. Tried them again today and felt no support whatever. Walking in them felt downright unsafe.

Would buy again
This was the last pair of size 9 in the slate color and I lucked out. Comfortable right out of the box. Would buy again but doubt Bean will restock them. Sometimes with Bean when you see something you like the hesitation will be that when finally decide its gone.

Good looking casual shoe
I bought them as a casual shoe, mostly to wear with jeans. Color is darker than my PC showed but they still work for me. I haven't worn them yet, waiting for a bit warmer weather but I think they are going to take a bit of breaking in to make them more flexible. I sized up 1/2 size to be sure they would have room for a lightweight sock and give me a bit more room in the toe box. I noticed that the sole structure is the same as a wool blend sneaker that I bought earlier from LLB. Only time will tell if they are as comfortable.

Attractive sneakers
Nice looking, lightweight, but not inserts cut in to my arch, so I used my own. I wore them on the plane and hiking in Hawaii. I liked that you can wear them loosely as slip ons. Fit was just right.

Summer Sneaker II
They are attractive and light weight, so they were good to pack for my recent trip. They are comfortable, though for long times on my feet, I need a firmer sole (like Bean's Trail Model hikers). My only complaint is that the laces are hard to adjust because they don't easily slip through the loops.

Favorite shoes ever!
These shoes are awesome! I actually have three pair. Easy on and off for yoga class and great comfort and support for hiking and biking.
