When our designers saw a photo of a USA team member wearing an L.L.Bean fleece on the historic 1990 Mount Everest International Peace Climb, they had to recreate it. They combined the distinctive collar, classic pocket and contrast trim with plush, hi-pile fleece to create our softest jacket ever, with just-right breathability, warmth - and adventurous spirit.

Warm Cozy Fleece Jacket
I’ve always loved fleece jackets from LL Bean, but I found there were some winter days where I needed something heavier. This jacket will work beautifully. Smartly made and the gray color is very appealing. I’m looking forward to trying it out this season.

I bought one of these a few years ago and loved it! When I reordered recently I knew as soon as I opened the bag and took it out that the weight of the fleece is about 3/4 of the old one. Bean says they have not changed this jacket since it's introduction in 2018.?

It’s the most enormous size XS I’ve ever known. I’m keeping it, though in case I have on 5 layers and need another for warmth.

Hi Pile fleece jacket
I bought one of these a few years ago and the weight was far more substantial than this new one. I like the coat, but is lighter weight than the previous one. I hope this one is as warm, but I have my doubts. Not sure how it will be in really cold temps.
