Another great backpack
This backpack replaced one that my son had passed along to me after he used it through high school and college. It survived a lot of abuse and the new one looks like it’s made just as well, plus it has some new features. So I feel confident it will do well. I can’t think of anything that would make it better.

It doesn't let me down!
I've used my LL Bean backpack for 17 years! All through high school, college, and post-college for trips, etc. It doesn't let me down. Fits a ton of stuff for flying if you are only allowed a personal item.

Not like they once were
Like many, I still have my llbean bag from High School and it held up beautifully. Due to this I bought my kids llbean bags. Unfortunately, they don’t last more than one school year. My son isn’t particularly rough with his bag or anything and the zipper broke and it ripped in multiple places! He takes it to school and home. This makes it hard to justify the price when I can get the same quality at a much cheaper price point and I really only came to llbean because of the quality in the first place.
The size is nice, my kids feel like they are comfortable and hold a good amount. The padded laptop holder keeps laptops from hitting the ground when they inevitably toss it down without care. Wipes clean. It’s just too bad the quality is lacking.

Perfect for my maturing child
My now middle school-aged daughter has outgrown her elementary bag with unicorns all over it, so we got this book bag for her birthday. It's a beautiful eggplant color, monogramming was perfectly done, and my daughter loves that the clips and edging details on the bag are lavender instead of white or black. She carries her bag everywhere and couldn't be happier.
