Exactly what I needed
I finally found a backpack that will hold everything with room to spare! The backpack itself is fairly light weight so it's manageable when fully loaded and you don't feel like a pack mule! It easily holds my 15.5 inch laptop, gym gear, water bottle, and all my other little necessities. Why did I wait so long to get this??

Shoulder strap broke first week of school
My daughter previous LL Bean backpack was used for school over 6 years and many vacations including an international trip then traveling through Italy and Greece. It was still fully functional BUT looked very beat up. We both agreed that an exact replacement would be best for college. She used it for 6 days when the should strap came completely loose from the waist. We are both shocked. I can’t believe this bag is even close to the same quality as her original one. I will not be purchasing a second one.

Zipper constant problem
Got this backpack monogramed for my daughter for middle school. She loves all the pockets and places to store things. But the zippers get caught on fabric and a week into this school year, one zipper went off the track for good and we couldn't get it back. Now I don't know whether to replace it with the same bag and just hope it doesn't break, or get another brand. Seems so wasteful to throw away an otherwise good bag but the zippers are critical.
