A bit light to be called midweight layer. Color not as bright as pictured. Side panels and rear of arms are gray not checkered. Fit matches size designation. Neck collar about 1.5" too short to protect upper neck. Good feel and stitching appears well done.

Better than most
Good shirt. Nice fit. Not as good as the mid weights I have bought from Bean previously, but still better than other brands I’ve looked at. Specifically a little scratchy around my neck.l am 6’and 160 pounds.

good shirt
I purchased the medium tall. I am 5'9". I weigh 155 lbs with a 40" chest and a 32" waist. The extra length of the tall size is much appreciated. Shirt fits perfect as a base layer. Fits close to the body with a slight amount of stretch. Fabric feels good on my bare skin. The Thumb holes are a very nice feature. Shirt adds moderate warmth in cold weather. I will be wearing these shirts all winter. If they prove to be durable I will be quite pleased. My first impression is very positive.
