Sturdy high quality bench
Wanted a bench next to our outside shower and this bench is sturdy, attractive and is easy to clean. We love it. We had no problem assembling it.

Bench needed disassembly to assemble
I had to remove and transpose the support legs so that the bench could be reassembled . This piece was carelessly put together at the factory. It matches the outdoor chairs, which are marred by pre-drilled holes that only match up with great difficulty. I am quite angy at LL Bean

Poor quality assurance from vendor
I love LLBean products. This is our first disappointment. After waiting 6 weeks for delivery, we can use it the holes for screws on the legs of the bench don’t line up. The quality control from the vendor is not good. LL Bean has been accommodating but the second bench has the same problem and now waiting for the third bench. This will be the last try. I would pass on this item.

QA issues
Received 2 benches, both rife with QA problems, LL Bean needs to improve manufacturing quality! The 1st bench: didn't come with all holes pre-drilled, the holes that were pre-drilled did not align properly. The 2nd bench: factory nailed the screws in too far and the screw tip protruded slightly on the bench top (ouch!) enough to not be able to sit on the bench comfortably, especially around children. So the 1st bench took an hour to put together (with tools provided, I needed a ratchet), and the 2nd bench is un-usable and needs a replacement. LL Bean did promptly issue a replacement which is good, but ideally should not have happened in the first place.

It is very well made. You’ll need good lighting and a 3/8 ratchet to get this together, took me 30 mins!

Perfect addition to our porch
We love this bench so far. Sits outside the front door and provides a perfect, flat place to put items down while opening or closing the door and wrangling the dog. The depth is perfect--deep enough to sit on, but easy to walk past on the porch. Classic design looks great, too.

Not llbean quality
Been a headache to get defective free product and far too much physical effort on my part to get it right. Doesn’t live up to the llbean reputation which is why I purchased it there to begin with.

Wicked Awesome Bench
Order 4 of these Farmhouse Benches and LLbean did not disappoint. The color is a very soft neutral oatmeal tan, benches were easy to assemble with strong hardware, and are very heavy and durable. Looking forward to many, many years of use on our outdoor patio!

Easy to put together. I wanted a bench for my plants around our pool area and this was perfect! I love the color and it is very durable and well made. I have purchased the all weather furniture for my home in Virginia and it looked great after being outside in year round weather (snow, rain and hot sun).

The photos don’t do this bench justice. We bought a pair, along with the table, and two end chairs. Very sturdy and well built. Super easy to assemble- just attach the legs and crossbars. Very happy with them.

Beautiful Bench
This gorgeous bench is the latest addition in my all weather collection of outdoor furniture. The bench arrived quickly, and my husband and I had it together in a few minutes. We had no problems at all. Everything was included. He did use his own ratchet. The bench is beautiful, slate grey is our color choice. I love all my pieces from this collection.
