If I could give "0" stars, that is what I would pick. These shorts/swim trunks have changed completely since the last time I purchased them. Beginning with the fact that what I purchased before were Medium, this time the medium fell right off. I have a 33 inch waist. The Medium is listed as fitting 32-34. The circumference of these Mediums were 35 1/2 inches unstretched. I exchanged them for Smalls, but the elastic in the waist is so weak, that if I bend over to pick something up, they slide right off my butt. Also, the cut is weird. I have no butt, but when I try to sit down, they bind right where my leg bends. The material is also very thin and not very comfortable, kind of like paper. Big disappointment from LL Bean. I have been buying from them for over 50 years. But on this item, I will have to look elsewhere in the future. I am putting these in the Goodwill container.
