Almost perfect but missing a chest-high pocket
I bought this because even though I have a Primaloft Packaway jacket already, it's not designed for a place where it rains most of the entire autumn, winter, and spring seasons (I have a heavier insulated Gore-Tex jacket for cold winter weather) where I end up having to wear it underneath a waterproof shell all the time. This was on sale and knowing how much decent outer garments cost today, I sprung for it.
It's almost exactly what I wanted. It has the warmth of my current Primaloft Packaway jacket but it's waterproof and truly windproof to boot. When it gets really cold and wet, I have another LL Bean coat to deal with that situation (rarely is it cold and dry here). My current jacket is good in dryer periods in autumn and spring (when that happens :)
But it doesn't have a chest pocket where I can put my keys so they are easily accessible to me when I need them. And that is a major flaw here because keys tend to get lost in the bottom pockets (at least those pockets have zippers). For some reason, it has pit zips but I have never needed them when it's cold enough to necessitate wearing this coat.
