Crisp gingham shirt
This is a true no-iron, crisp shirt. It’s roomy but still fits well. The fabric is a very nice quality and the navy gingham pops. Misses medium. This is my new favorite shirt.

Women's cotton shirt
Shirt, basically, does not need ironing, but ironing gives it a smoother look. The no-iron fabric is stiff and has not softened with washing and drying and, the collar stands away from the nape of the neck. I will use it as a work shirt over a tee shirt.

Very, very roomy shirt
I ordered a medium; it was very, very generous with too much fabric in arms. I tried a small and the body was better but the shirt is short and the sleeves are too short. I returned the small.
I love the fabric, the pocket on the front, and it’s a decent price point, so I’m going to have the shirt tailored/fitted because it’s simply too roomy!

I love, love, love this shirt!
I've lost count of how many of these check shirts I've purchased over the years. It is wrinkle-free, comfortable, can be dressed up or down, durable, has a pocket, in short, it's perfect! L.L. Bean, please bring back/create more colors. I'm thinking of green, baby blue, raspberry, pink, purple... Note, this is the first review I've written, ever! Folks need to know about this shirt!

I’m Never Without This Shirt
I’ve bought these shirts for years. They are my go to workwear under a blazer or sweater with slacks or jeans. If I don’t get them out of the dryer soon enough, all they need is a little touch up with the iron. They are the perfect weight that suggests quality and durability. I wear the plus-size which works well for my 64 year old tummy. Three suggestions: an option for collar stays, plus petite-the sleeves are too long, and more checked (not floral) color options. Oh, and for heaven’s sake, bring back FRENCH BLUE. Mine’s worn out.

It's not Oxford cloth
This is a nice, but very stiff, light cotton shirt. Don't be fooled when they say "Oxford", it is not Oxford cloth. But if you're looking for a light summer shirt, this should do nicely. I'm hoping it loses some of it's stiffness with washing.
Also I do not think sizes are uniform across all items of clothing. I have to order a Medium Tall in LL Bean women's turtlenecks to get the arm length I need, but the sleeves on a Medium Tall in this shirt covered my hands. I had to send it back for a regular Medium. Which is what I usually wear, so I think the turtlenecks are small, but one should be able to wear the same size in all shirts/tops from a company.
