Perfect fit
I am 6’2” tall and weigh 230+ lbs with fairly big thighs. I purchased 40”W and 32”L pants. These pants are a terrific fit with just enough room in the seat, a perfect rise, and a soft, comfortable material. The waist is not generous so if you are on plus side of 40” you may want to consider a 42” waist.

Great fitting corduroys. Perfect for casual wear and nice for church as well. So comfortable. Beware sizing as it may not be comsistent. I got another color in the same size but they were too tight and did not fit. Had to exchange for a larger size and ended up paying extra shipping for this snafu.

There comes a time when denim jeans just aren't age-appropriate any more and that's always assuming that you can find any that fit! Recently my son asked me when is too old for jeans, which made me ask myself the same question. In my case it was 76, so that's the answer for me and here comes the solution...cords! These are wonderful pants, comfortable, winter weight, warm, well made and good value. Only wish I'd thought about it 5 years ago and stopped kidding myself that I looked good in blue jeans. Highly recommended.

Fit well, look good
These pants fit well and look good. The classic fit seems to be tighter in the waist than the other fits with the same waist size, which I considered when I placed my order. There does not seem to be much or any stretch in the material. Anyway, I like these pants.

The marketing copy claims "classic fit" but in fact the length from crotch to waistband is shortened like almost all contemporary pants. The waistband comes below the waist so comfort is shortchanged.

One flaw
I ordered 3 pair of these pants. Two of them had the white inner lining showing over the top of the waistband making a single horizontal white pin stripe, meaning that I will have to wear my shirts out or try to dye the stripe without affecting the rest of the pants. Otherwise, they are just what I ordered, and the quality can't be beat.
