We recently se ised to retire our three LLB beach towels. I think they were over ten yrs old. We bought three new ones and the colors are so bright and enlightening! They feel great, are quite absorbant and dry relatively quickly. Check out the LLB beach towels!!

TERRIBLE TOWEL
I bought this in anticipation of the summer beach season. I have washed it once and it now looks so beat up: threads out on both sides of the towels, hem fraying. I have always trusted LL bean for quality but will be more careful in the future. This was a huge disappointment

Color is a little different then looks on website. I think it look nice then picture. Nice and thick. Definitely a good quality well-crafted towel. Expect to last a long time and we go to the beach quite frequently.

Not good material
I ordered three of these towels for my grandchildren. Two (the one pictured as well as another) of the three unraveled and developed several holes. The towels had barely been used - Maine has a short swim season. The towels were replaced but in less than a week there were several pulled threads showing. The terry loop is very large which makes a soft towel but also makes them fragile and prone to pulls and raveling. The towels are very pretty to look at but not very sturdy.

never had a problem with any LL Bean purchase - this is a big exception - we bought two towels in the spring in anticipation of summer - we used them for the first time last week - after one washing, there are several pulled threads in each towel and frayed edges - not usable - very disappointed

Overpriced for average quality
I expected much better quality from LL Bean for the price of these beach towels (even on sale). They aren't thick material. Not better quality than I'd buy at Target. And they snag very easily. Save your money and purchase towels you can see and feel in the store.

Degrades quickly
My last LL Bean beach towels lasted ten years and stood the test of time. Replaced them with these which look and feel wonderful upon arrival but after one two-hour by the pool use and a delicate wash/dry, both the towels I ordered came out of the dryer full of strings as the towels degrade with minimal usage. See photo. Very disappointed that the quality of what I thought was the same item is nothing but an example of very poor workmanship and quality control. Returned the next day.

Very Nice!
I purchased two of these towels and had them monogrammed. They are exactly what I was looking for. The beach towel is a nice weight, not too thin and not so thick that it would take forever to dry. Nice quality and the monogramming looks fabulous.

Simply the Best
I bought eight of these towels over two years ago. They are beautiful, well-sized and wash up like a dream. They are getting softer with each wash and our family cottage could not function without this pile of towels. Great size for being by a big Lake. Highly recommend.

Poor quality
Upon first use, threads throughout the towels have started to pull out. They are pretty to look at but impractical if you want to actually use. I've had other beach towels hold up better after a decade than these after one day. Highly discourage others from purchasing.
