The rugged rubber outsole is not only built for stability, but flexibility too; the cushioned EVA midsole ensures all-day ease - and both are built from the same materials as top-of-the-line walking and running shoes.
- Vibram IceTrek rubber outsole with Vibram Arctic Grip for superior traction.
- Molded EVA midsole provides exceptional cushion and support.
- Lined with moisture-wicking synthetic mesh for breathable, fast-drying comfort.
- 200-gram PrimaLoft® polyester insulation keeps feet warm.
- Waterproof leather upper with TEK2.5® waterproof membrane and rubber bottom keep feet dry.
- Laces not waterproof.
- Synthetic-covered EVA foam innersole.
- Thermochromatic lug turns blue when the temperatures fall below freezing, so you know it's working.

Warm and Comfortable
Wore a few times so far and glad that I went with this selection. They are comfortable and kept my feet dry and warm throughout the day while watching a football game.

Good Boot - Vibram sole not worth the extra money
I posted a review on these boots years ago after I bought them (my review is the second review written on these boots from January of 2018). I still have the boots today in 2024 and have used them for a solid 7 years. The sole is just starting to detach on one of the boots so it is time to replace them. My initial review said that the Vibram sole provided good grip and better than that of a traditional boot sole. After wearing the boots for many years, I am revising that review to say that the extra money for the Vibram sole is not worth it. Even a couple months after purchasing the boots I noticed they weren't gripping any better than any other boot or shoe I would normally wear. Changing my review from 5 stars to 4 stars specifically because the special sole cost more money. Everything else I wrote in the review has held true. Feet stay warm and dry, boots were comfortable to walk in, and I got a lot of heavy use out of them. I would buy them again but would choose the version that has the traditional boot sole.

Great boot for Anchorage Ak
Using daily in Anchorage all winter. Great boot for what I do. Perfect for break up. Lots of snow then thaw then freezing over and over. I wouldn’t take them much colder than 15 below unless staying active. Love them. There is a zip up version which I also have. I don’t have thick legs so they feel a little sloppy but I use them for outdoor slippers. Short excursions, easy chores around the place.
