Need Hoodless Back
I agree with another reviewer. Please bring back the hoodless/detachable hood version. I love that coat! It is very warm, but not heavy. With the hood off, it can even be worn for somewhat dressy occasions. I have one that is
wearing out. I ordered the hooded one a couple years ago, but hated the stiff hood and returned it.

The best coat for a Colorado suburban winter
I’ve had this for two years in the black, and it is my go to once the temps get below 40. It fits true to size and washes easily. Lightweight and easy to pack. Seriously the best.

Perfect ultra lightweight and warm coat
Perfectly warm, ultra lightweight, compact and great fit for my petite 5' figure. Love it and recommend it. I wear a petite XS and in clothes a size 2P. Just back from Iceland and wore it and carried it in my backpack and wore it when needed. Looking forward to wearing it on walks on the rail trail in my backyard and to my grandchildren's fall sports games near Albany, NY.

Favorite Coat, But needs new Colors Please....
This coat is my longtime favorite-almost 7 years going...I JUST WISH that Bean would add more colors that are slightly brighter and more cheerful. Some examples of better colors would be turquoise, clover green, navy blue, light grey. Every fall I raise my hopes that this coat will be changed to happier colors, but (while I wait I'm in black with bright scarf)..

Lite weight
Surprisingly light weight. Have yet to go out in the cold with it to test the warmth. Between sizes M/L (142 lbs, 5’3”, 32F) went with the regular M as it fits comfortably and doesn’t make me look like the Michelin man. I’m not one to wear bulky sweaters - mostly the Smart Wool type layers underneath so comfortable with this size. Looking forward to the cold to test drive.

Love these jackets
New style runs larger the old style without hood. We need better colors ! Olive green, light blue , anything but the the same old maroon and dk blue. I got the gunmetal but buy these every year so more color choice please and maybe one without the hood! I’m in New Hampshire. and wear these as my everyday coat . I hike and take my walks in it even in 19° weather .
