Beautiful Belt But Does Indeed Have Finish Issues
Was hoping to find the LL Bean belt that I receieved as a gift around 2010, which didn't fit any longer due to slimming my waist. That belt was of such high, long-lasting quality that I wanted to simply get another in the right size. Sadly, that belt isn't avbailable any longer and has been replaced by this one. Everything about this belt is great except the outer finish/ tanning being defective. Areas of mine turned to flaky suede in less than a month!

Don't buy this.
Terrible belt. I paid a lot for it, too. Less than 6 months, and it is worn out. Looked terrible after a month. The surface is peeling off, and the belt is stretching out all over.

Sturdy, Runs Long
Sturdy and high quality. I expect it to last a long time and look better with wear. Note that it runs long. Had to exchange my normal belt size (pants size +2) for my standard pants size.

Finish peeled off after i wore it twice
I bought this for our trip to Italy back in May. While we were there I noticed that the finish peeled off and stained my pants orange.

Beware of sizing
I bought the predecessor (#269401) to this two or three years ago. I ordered 40. What I received was marked 40. But they measured out to 44 to the middle hole. Should've returned them, but I didn't. I made extra holes and tried to use them (I bought the brown and the black, both) but got irritated at the huge amount of extra belt left over. Good quality. Will serve you well if you get the right size.
