ELMER FUDD saves the COLD DAY!
The weather last fall was so cold. My father and grand father both owned this hat. I have always liked its shape and traditional red/black check. I knew it was wool and knew it would be warm BUT did not expect the detail in the design of this hat. All the way around the inside of the bottom portion of the cap is a 'band' that once the hat is put on, that band perfectly 'seals' and keeps the head warm and keeps the cool air from getting up in the inside of the cap. I get complimented every time I wear it and it definitely has a 'unique and timeless look'. Its very light weight and though at first I was a little disappointed when i found out it had to dry cleaned...BUT like the instructions say, if it gets dirty just brush it of with a brush and keep going. Its easy to keep and clean and keeps its shape even after I find out I have been sitting on it in the car for the las 200 miles! This is a classic!

Don’t use size chart.
Nice cap for shielding your eyes and keeping your ears warm. Hat is sized wrong. Size guide says I should have a medium but when I got it it was way too big. The small did fit. I wear a size 7 1/8.

This cap is quality and very handsome. But it didn’t fit right on my husband’s head. Also the flaps stick out a little whe folded up.
