Sturdy and practical
I have had this for several years but haven't used it frequently as we purchased a teardrop trailer with a kitchen and often don't need it. Nevertheless, when I did use it, before the teardrop, it was great. Please disregard the complaint from someone below observing that this isn't racoon proof! Neither are sturdy plastic bins. Those crafty raccoons can open latches and tear through cloth. Keep non-canned food in your vehicle or in metal containers with multiple latches. This product works very well for dishes, lots, pans, dish towels, canned goods, etc. I'm considering using it as a dresser in our "living room" tent on our next extended adventure.

Great Design: Form, Fit, Function
I expected it to be good, it surpassed my expectations. Engineering wonder with quality. No assembly just lift and snap and your set. Fits in the bag without a hassle. Very solid and level, holds enough items and there are slats to support the shelf. I looked at other brands and they were flimsy. Folds up into a case, so very little space needed for storage in the car. Great for outdoor concerts as well as camping.

Compact storage. Solid construction
We love this organizer which we quickly dubbed the "kitchen island." We stored pots, pans, plates, and storage bags on the shelves. We had our camp stove on top. I would put a thick pad on the top if you are using a stove. We had our stove on it for a week with no troubles, but I worry the heat might get to the laminate top. For people who complain that this isn't critter proof? It is not intended to be! It holds non-food stuff very nicely, though!

Fabulous!
Versatile, easily stored, and easy to assemble. For fun, I even set it up inside our house with two camp chairs for wine and appetizers for my husband’s birthday! It will accompany us on many outings!

Water intrusion on Formica top.
Nearly awesome:
I really liked the way this worked at camp, but the Formica top has started to bubble after the first cleanup/wash down. I think the rain will really damage this product.
It’s a shame and trim isn’t watertight. Could be a very good product otherwise, especially if it had a zippered flap over the screen In the rear for rain rejection.

L.L.Bean Campsite Organizer is compact, strong, and serves its intended purpose. One detail we would have appreciated would have been for a roll down velcro "door" for the side opposite the door. Otherwise we are pleased with the purchase and have recommended it to family and friends.

A great campsite addition
I gave it to my sister, who had recently acquired an Airstream Bambi, as a birthday present. Now I’m her favorite sibling! Seriously, she was happy to receive what she instantly identified as the storage unit she would place outside the camper, right next to the door. No need to go inside every time you need something. Just keep the essentials nearby, in the “pantry.” When she had it fully assembled (5-10 minutes, max), she was impressed by how sturdy it is, and declared that the top surface would be perfect to place a lantern to light up the campsite. She has not field-tested it yet, but it was easy for her to envision how useful and “neat” it would be.

Exceeded expectations.
These are very well made and seem good value for the price. The frame locks solidly in place and feels very rigid. We first used one on an extended camping trip and ended buying a second one because we found it so useful. One is used for kitchen cooking needs and one for personal items. I had also purchased an almost identical but larger six shelf model made by the same manufacturer and sold through another major outdoor retailer but returned it because it was just a bit too heavy and bulky. For us, this three shelf version is perfect. We use them on separate 2x4’ portable tables, effectively tripling the table space. One suggestion: if using on a smooth surface, remove the adjustable leg levelers as we found them to be too slick as the unit would slide easily. Without the levelers, there is more surface contact.

Camp organizer
Purchased as a Christmas gift for a couple who go camping & have everything they need. This campsite organizer caught my eye as it can be used inside a tent to store blankets, etc. Although an expensive storage unit, this was designed to use to store kitchenware, etc. I’ll repost what the couple thinks of their unique LLBean gift. I give the idea 5 stars but have not opened it.

Great addition...
This organizer has been a great addition to our camping items. We get many questions about it. It sits by the TT and holds our coffee, tea and breakfast supplies. Works great and we are not constantly running in and out of the TT for coffee and breakfast items. We also store some snack items for people and animals.

Great for camping!
I am very picky about quality. This lives up to my expectations. Very well made, collapses into a small carry case. Durable fabric and shelves after inserting the solid shelves that are in the bottom of the organizer. Don’t keep food in this as there is a small screen in the back. It worked well in the front of my tent for things that I used frequently without having to search for in a bin or the car. It assembles quickly and easily by opening the latches and pulling up on the top. Each bar locks in place. The only drawback is its easy to pinch a finger when putting up and taking down. Just be careful doing that and you will be fine. Very nice! I like it a lot!

Useful but Beware of Chipmunks
If you have room in your vehicle, you might find this useful at (car) camp. We moved it around our campsite as needed as a table and place to keep things. However, KEEP AN EYE ON THE BACK SCREENING! THERE IS A 5 X 20 inch screened window on the back. Unbeknownst to us, as we sat nearby, during the day, a chipmunk or a Stellar's Jay quietly tore holes in that screen. To me, this is really a design flaw. The material of the screen should be sturdy enough to keep out a tiny mammal or blue jay. Racoons and larger, okay, I understand, but not a small forest creature. Thankfully LLBean is sending us a new one. We will watch the back carefully in the future and may add some sturdier material back there. I hope the design can be improved as well for future buyers.

A Place for Everything
After reading mixed reviews I decided to take a chance and am so glad I did. Bought this for our first car camping trip in years (after backpacking it was practically glamping!) and it worked perfectly in the tent for dry food storage on the shelves and as a night stand on top. It opens easily and is sturdier than I expected after reading the reviews. Folds flat for storage, comes with a nice little cover, and is carried easily with the handle. Recommend!

I was confused
I ordered this and was so disappointed, I didn’t take it on two camping trips. The shelves were just flimsy material that sagged. So, it sat in the garage in the nice carrying case, unused. While shopping for something else later on from LLBean, I thought I would see what kind of reviews it got. Then I read there are shelf inserts packaged in the bottom. There were no instructions or stickers telling the purchaser to get the shelves and insert. The unit is rather dark inside so I never saw them. Okay! Yes! I like it! It is going on our next trip!

Love it!
I actually got this to use for my dad when he visits. It fits a lot of his clothes, but not all. But he has big clothes. I’m thinking of getting another one to put next to the first one. It's lightweight, and I put it up on a counter top for him. Now he doesn’t need to bend over to reach anything, and everything is sorted and visible for him. But I would definitely take it along when traveling. It’s sturdy and well made. Go for it!

Organizes everything in the screen tent! Big enough for pot, pans, dishes and everything else you always have all over the table or in a tote. No more digging through the tote looking for items you need, everything there in front of you nice and organized. Also, love how easy it is to set up and take down. Such a great camping item!
This is exactly what I need to corral my various smaller camping items either in the tent or around the camp kitchen. It is lightweight yet sturdy. I love how easy it is to set up and take down. The removable hard shelves are a nice addition, making those shelves more sturdy than just canvas. I have even thought about using it in the house next to the blow up mattress for my guests when they visit.

Great for Tent Trailer Camping
We needed something to put clothes in our tent trailer so we wouldn’t have to continually shuffle around duffel bags. This is great for stacking my 9 year old’s clothes so he can pick out what he wants to wear. Folds easily down and flat, is super lightweight, and fits into the bag nicely! Very happy with this purchase so far.
