Product Details
These men's handsewn moccasins are a customer favorite for their classic style and custom-made feel that only gets better with time.
In 1936 when Leon Leonwood Bean first introduced these shoes, he compared them to the unique comfort of a handmade Indian moccasin. That soft, custom-made feel is still apparent in each shoe sewn today.
- Traditional rubber sole with channel grooves for traction on wet surfaces.
- Removable padded, moisture-wicking insole.
- Not available in California.
- Full-grain leather upper conforms to your foot.

I ordered size 9.5 & 10 to gage best fit. 9.5 were slightly tight, nice soft leather, returned in favor for size 10. When size 10 arrived better fit but leather seemed synthetic, much different than previous, not flexible, hard material compared to soft leather of the 9.5--no comparison between the two. After 2 years still haven't softened up, discouraging. materials

Last for years and still stay looking like new!
Great shoes. I like the fact that they are offered with options for the lining…fleece, flannel or regular.

Best mocs, wish for a sturdier sole
After an brief, uncomfortable break-in period, the leather on these shoes forms to the feet like a glove. Unfortunately, just as they reach that "perfect blue jeans" phase, the soles begin to crack. Cobblers are an endangered species (extinct in these parts), and Bean does not do shoe repairs. Although I don't mind repurchasing these every other year, putting such well-loved leather in the bin really frosts my pumpkin. These shoes are nearly the only footwear my husband wears (besides the tragically discontinued Elkhide Slipper Scuff, which I'd hoped to buy for my father this Christmas). I realize that daily wear will cause the soles and overstitching to break down more quickly, but it's a shame they can't be resoled. I now buy 2 pairs to rotate through on a daily basis. I have my own pair, and they really are that comfy.

Beans Camp Moccasins are hard to wear out
Beans Camp Moccasins are awesome. Ive owned a pair for over 30 years, and just love them. I've been a size 10.5, so get your size. They will outlast your new pair, so you always have a yard work pair. Get a pair - you cant go wrong!

Great shoes!
Classic pair of shoes for around the house and neighborhood. I had a pair in high school, and the quality hasn't changed.
