Quality puffer coat
As other reviews noted, the arm holes really are just a bit too high. And the fit is too snug. I wear either a medium or large depending on the item, so I opted for large to stay safe and it’s still snug. Overall though, it’s cozy and warm. The hood is great while I’m trying to keep warm at my kids soccer matches, but I doubt it would hold up to much actual rain.

pretty tight
This is a nice coat but the fit is off. I ordered large too tight in chest so I ordered a XL fit perfect except in the chest are, fit like the large there and I don't have a big chest. Returned both

The lining of the jacket is a soft type of flannel material. It does not go on easily over a sweater or a flannel shirt. The smooth lining of my old LL Bean jacket was much better.

Perfect for me
I bought this jacket prior to a trip to Vermont in February. It was perfect for the weather there when it dropped below zero as well as the 30 degree weather in Pennsylvania. Very versatile and I love that it's not bulky. Sleeves fit my long arms which can often be an issue to have cold wrists. LL Bean is my go to for great jackets and coats. I have at least 7!
