The Katahdin Iron Works operated in the north woods for much of the 19th century, employing thousands of hardworking Mainers. Inspired by their grit and strength, we designed our Katahdin Iron Works line of rugged work clothes to stand up to all kinds of rough use.

Very thin fleece sweatshirt
Bought this as a replacement for one bought years ago for adult male. Very disappointed as it is now a thin, summer like sweatshirt nothing close to what has been his favorite, substantial Fall to Spring sweatshirt. The medium size is also smaller and a tight fit - returning & looking at another brand to replace.

Great Sweatshirt
This is my second men's Katahdin full zip sweatshirt. I'm 5' 8" and about 165 lbs. This is slightly big as I want to wear a long sleeve shirt underneath. Size is a Large. It's a medium weight. Good for cool weather.Two side hand pockets, full zipper and a large hood with draw strings.

Not what I thought I was getting
I have one of these that is at least 10 years old. Love it but it is showing its age. I bought this new one a few weeks ago and it is half the warmth and half the insulation. I am disappointed.
