Excellent hooded vest!
My husband got the men's version first and I saw how versatile it is. I love mine. It is good on days when it is good to wear it over a sweatshirt. But now that we are into deep winter, it is great under a down jacket that doesn't have a hood. The hood on this vest is just the right size! I highly recommend this vest!

Warm and Comfortable
I bought this vest because of its "warmer" rating. I very seldom wear a winter coat although I live in central NH. The vest is perfect for days in the 30's and below. It is very lightweight and not constraining. I usually wear a LL Bean heavy weight base layer and flannel shirt underneath and I am very comfortable. The hood is a plus for windy conditions.
