Cream of the Sweater Crop at LLBean
This is my 5th of these but the cream might just be my fav of all. It's such a beautiful color. Thank you LL Bean! I love the way this sweater fits. The shorter in front/longer in back adds some visual interest and a touch of modernity and fun. Ditto for the dropped shoulders. The shorter length is so perfect for petites. And it's boxy without being frumpy. The cut of the sweater and the side slits means that it doesn't just go around in a line, clinging to the hips and accentuating the broad points. I know that some don't like the fit of this sweater, but please, oh please, do not take this one away LL Bean. For me, it's the equivalent of the Saturday t-shirt (which you did take away and now I have no t-shirt choices). There are lots of sweaters out here with the traditional fit, but this one gives a choice to those of us who are shorter or smaller or just not into the more classic style all the time.
