best value coat
I bought mine quite a few years ago. Not the fanciest coat but it's waterproof and warm and good fitting. Best Bean coat for wet and cold days when you have to go outdoors. True to size. It does crackle a bit BUT the performance makes up for it. The fleece lining on the body is very warm. Pockets are really nice and deep and hold gloves. I would give this coat a 6 star rating if that was an option.

Hood, snaps, zipper, waterproof and warm!
In my opinion, this is the perfect winter jacket. There are snaps and a zipper to close this jacket. It is roomy and snuggly. This jacket is a repeat for me. I liked it so much I ordered another one in a different color. The jacket is warm, has a hood, and is waterproof. It is machine washable. For the very cold days, it covers your bottom. I don’t look around for a jacket. I know I will get a great product from LLBean.

Needs an update
Boxy and dislike the fur lining. Felt like I was being squeezed and made it difficult to slide on and off.

Great coat but don't like the hood
The coat is good quality and keeps me warm and dry in the Pacific NW fall and winter. However, the hood is designed poorly and oversized. When I put the hood up, it fell over my face and down over my chin. It has a cinch in the center of the hood. When cinched, the hood puffs out above and below the cinch, which does not look attractive.

Perfect all around Coat!

Great LLBean Quality
Original order was for size large. I returned that one for petite large and the fit is just right for me. I'm 5'5" and 160 lbs. I'm not looking forward to cold weather but I am looking forward to wearing my new coat.

Just what I was looking for
This coat is just what I was looking for in a winter coat. The zipper works great. I wanted a coat where i didn't fight with trying to zip the jacket closed.
I would suggest sizing up, if you're busty. I ordered my usual size, Medium, but it was too tight across my chest with one light weight layer.

Hard to snap!
The coat has 1 flaw. There's a snap at the very top and it's super difficult to snap. So my neck gets cold!
