I like this coat a lot
This is now my go-to winter coat. No, it is NOT the warmest ever, for me that is still a down coat. However, this jacket has so many positive features! Pockets everywhere, and they zip! A sturdy, easy to get started zipper, possibly an upgrade from the zipper mentioned in older reviews? A big hood, with plenty of ways to adjust the fit. A lining that makes it easy to slip into the jacket. Enough room for extra layers. A pretty color. And it is washable - though I haven't needed that feature yet!

I wished I had gotten a petite size
It is a warmer jacket. I had wished I had done a petite size. My neck is swallowed up if I decided to zip it all the way up.

Even if you don't ski...
The color, style and fit are perfect for me. With layers it's great for cold days down into the 20's. Good pockets for carrying phone, and dog-walking supplies: kibbles phone, keys, tissues, etc.
It's amazingly light weight and not bulky, so if you don't layer, it's comfortable in much warmer temps as well. I know it's a ski jacket, but I'm getting so much good out of it in other ways, plus it often gets compliments!

Warm without bulk. Roomy fit for layering. Has nice features that are available in more expensive ski jackets. The two way zipper works fine as long as you know how to use one properly. My favorite purchase this year.

be careful with the cord to cinch around the bottom. I had it get caught on a chairlift. otherwise great jacket.

Zipper broke in first wash which was gentle cycle for wash and delicate/cool dryer
