Grat fit. Less quality fabric.
I am very happy with the fit of these jeans. I have been wearing Bean Classic fit for years and decided to try the tapered leg. Great! Unfortunately in the transition the quality of the fabric has changed and I am less pleased with that aspect of the pants.

Very low quality jeans
I wore these 4 times. Not to a job site or anything strenuous, just riding in a car, running errands, unloading groceries, etc. I never even washed them once. After just 4 wears, holes were forming around the back pockets and in the crotch. And it's not because they didn't fit right, they fit perfectly, these are just pathetically cheap. Very low-quality jeans.

Great jeans
These are great jeans - classic color and cut, sits comfortably at the waist with a medium-low rise, comfortable leg that tapers. I wish they made a straight leg version of this jean, and also a darker rinse, would buy another pair for sure if that was available. I tried on about 5 or 6 different cuts in store including the Double L, the other Signature slim fit, and out of all of them these were easily the most comfortable. I like the medium weight so they're not so hot on moderate days, but they're warm enough for your average winter day if you're just out and about running errands. I have flannel-lined jeans for the very cold days or days where I know I'll be outside for extended periods of time in the cold, so these work well in my rotation. The little bit of stretch makes these a lot more comfortable, and although I haven't owned these for a long time yet, I'm optimistic they'll still hold up well over time in spite of the small amount of elastane in them. I also like that they're 99% cotton.

Different colors, different fit?
They did come promptly!!
i bought 2 pairs of the Signature Heritage Demin, Classic Fit, Tapered Leg, both the same size, one in denim and one in walnut. They are very different fits! I had to look at the tag of the walnut pair to make sure they were the same model. Laying them one on top of the other shows the difference. Did the straight leg batch get mixed in with the tapered legs?

Excellent pair of jeans!
Great fit. I’ve struggled to find a great fitting pair of jeans. These were worth the price. Already dialing in the final fit after a couple washes.

poor quality
I bought these in December 2024. 6 months after, I noted a hole was forming near the corner of the left back pocket. The hole proceeded to turn into a massive rip right next to the pocket through normal wear and tear.
