Far better than I would have guessed
Really comfortable to walk in. Great loops to get in and out of the shoes which can be adjusted a couple of ways. Impressive!

I bought these about a month ago because they were on sale. I had seen the negative reviews, and I was a little worried but decided to take a chance. Regarding the back being too narrow - at first this was true, but in about 5 minutes they had adapted to my foot and were totally comfortable. As to the difficulty in getting them on - they do take a little effort, but only a little (again, after the first few times). However, I would agree, they are not "slip on", at least not in the way you see some shoes advertised on TV. But less work than tying shoes for sure. I have a wide foot, so I took another reviewer's advice and ordered 1/2 size up. They fit great - securely through the foot and my toes have room to wiggle. I recently wore them to a cooking class in which I was on my feet for the better part of two hours. I never thought of my feet once - which means they were comfortable. All of which is to say, I'm very glad I made this purchase!

very difficult to put on
The straps are useless, merely decorative. A huge struggle to put if you have a high instep. Once on it was the right size. Difficult also to take off.
The straps are useless since they do not open the shoe al all.

Slip on NOT slip in
Hubs almost didn’t get these because of reviews. But I pointed out tat Skechers are slip ins. Not slip ons. Like loafers are slip ions too. Difference. These are not the same. So he is happy with them. Got 1/2 size larger. Fit comfortably for casual wear.
