Bring back original Hurricane Shirt
Not as nice as the original Hurricane Shirts! Need to resurrect the original with heavier canvas and brass snaps. If you’re going to do that at least make it with larger buttons.

I don't know how they came up w/ the name.
Where did they get the name? It's too warm to wear in a hurricane, I've tried. Had mine for 15 to 19 years. Fabulous, highly recommend for the fall, winter, and early spring. W
It can be worn anytime during its season. Waterproof, grease proof, that's what they said back then. Today no grease no rain on the overshirt.

Why?
So disappointed that the Tall sizes only come in two colors ( both of which my husband already has). Are there so few tall people that it isn’t worth manufacturing them in more colors? It’s a great shirt, but apparently only for people of average height.

Three season shirt
Great shirt. Useful as a top layer in spring and fall and not too bulky under a winter jacket.

Best Ever!
I own two of these shirts. One I received in 11th grade and I still wear it! I’m 49. The other is 10 years old. Perfect for any weather. Use it as a jacket in fall and a layer in the colder months.

Over a Decade Old and Still Great
My husband bought four Hurricane shirts over 10 years ago and they are still wearable. We forgot the clothes on hangers when packing for a vacation recently and he ordered two new ones. The quality is the same. I would have preferred more a more subtle lining, but he likes them as they are. It is a great outer layer for much of the year where we live in central California. They hold up extremely well. A couple of the older ones have a few paint splatters, so they have been delegated as work shirts.

Highly recommended
The first hurricane shirt I ordered was the Dark Cement color. I like it so much I ordered the Coal, then Raven Blue and finally the Dark Barley. They are all great, you can’t go wrong with the hurricane shirts. I wear them from fall through the winter and spring.

Inaccurate sizing
I like that the material is 100% cotton, but the sizing is way off. Ordered a medium and it fits more like an XL.
