Grossly undersized.
Grossly undersized. I couldn't close the zipper with pants one size larger than my usual size. Utterly useless.

The pants fit very well. However, I had to have the length of pant legs shortened. Has LL Bean ever thought of offering a pant length of 28"?

Plan to use this summer
Material washed and dried nicely. But the legs are really full. I took up some in seam in thigh area rather than returning because husband liked them otherwise.

Higher quality from last year, but heavier fabric.
These "cargoes" replace a lighter weight synthetic fabric that I purchased last year. They are higher quality with better zippers, but noticably heavier fabric. Still light enough fabric from 80 degree weather. These do not have zillers for any of the four pockets like last years product, and that is good since those zippers broke within months. The collors are also better for this year. Only the heavier weight demands four stars rather than five. This fabric will be too heavy for the canoe at high temperatures, and this fabric will not dry quickly when you experience rain on a day hike.

Baggy! not "Slim Fit"
These were very baggy! The description said "slim throughout hip and thighs" and the photo shows a nice trim fit. Mine felt like balloon pants they were so not-slim.
