Poor quality
I just received my order with this towel, as well as another design towel.While the colors are beautiful and the size is good, the fabric looks threadbare throughout the towels, especially this design. I am very disappointed, knowing the usual high quality of all the LL Bean products I have bought over many years. I am also very surprised, considering all the high reviews. It definitely looks like threads are missing all over the towels. Therefore, they are being sent back. On a side note, their bath towels are wonderful.

I’m ready- let’s go!
The bright & cheery towel is super-sized & ready for fun in the sun. It’s also a thirsty cotton up to the job of protecting & making every beach or lakeside trip safe & lots of fun. I ordered this colorful towel for my granddaughter & had it monogrammed. It is darling & she loves it!!

Do NOT buy!
Towel started fraying immediately after taking out of the packaging. Did not even get a chance to put it through a quality test, it just basically started falling apart. Ordered this for my cat Pebbles (with her name monogrammed on it) as a Christmas gift, as she and her 2 fur brothers love to lie on folded towels (their tankies). She did not even get a chance to put a single claw in it before it started fraying. She does not care, she still loves it, but it is principle. I expect better quality for a $39.00 towel from LLBean. Still keeping the towel, as I don't want to deal with the hassle of returning, and my fur girl does not care, however her Mom (me) does.
