Pleasantly surprised by fit and comfort
I was skeptical a ‘regular’ sized pants could stand in for my usual 12 petite frame, but the friendly lady at the Bean store urged me to try them….and the medium regular did the trick! It fits fine at the waist and crotch. It’s a tad long but still falls at the lower shin, and a rip tie at the hemline adjusts length if I want shorter. I was also doubtful of the material…if it would be too heavy or not breathe-able. Nope. Fabric is surprisingly soft, lightweight, and comfortable to wear on hot, humid Southern days. Love the zipped pockets for stashing stuff while walking.

I really like them, but
I purchased these pants for a trip to Charleston. Light weight, fit great, looked great. No problem, come home do laundry, wear them again because now they are my favorite. Had a purse with a zipper on top, zipper left open and now I have two snags and a run in my favorite pants. So unhappy.

Another great feature!
I have been wearing these pants for years now in 3 different colors. They are very comfortable and wear well. They are also great for travel because they are so lightweight and easy to pack. I have even taken the string and hooked it onto the pocket button to turn them into a long short for very hot days.
Another feature I just learned about is how they don't stain. I spilled red wine on my thyme-colored pair the other night and thought it would be the end of the pants. Before I could wash them out, it had already dried and there was no stain! I couldn't believe my eyes. I'm going to buy the navy next time.
