Our go-to bath rug
I have purchased this rug numerous times, replacing it with the same item when the edges get tattered after a few years of going through weekly or biweekly washes. I've tried other brands, but have never found another bath rug with the same combination of cushioning and non-skid backing. The backing does wear off after a while and I have to use a non-skid rug pad to hold it in place.

An exceptionally wonderful mat. It boasts a delightful mix of practicality and strength. A non-slip backing. Stain resistant and highly absorbent. And thanks to its great white color, it can fit into most bathroom spaces with great ease.

Generously sized
LL Bean is the only place I have found that offers such a plush and generously sized mat. We have them in both bathrooms. Nice quality, looks great, but a few loops snag once in a while, so just clip with scissors when that happens. Nice non-slip rug without that cheap rubber backing that other brands have that crumbles away over time. Very happy with this purchase.

I have purchase several but mats (hooked rugs) from Bean. This mat did not meet the quality of the other mats (rugs) I have purchased. It sheds when washed so you have to stand by the sink and clean out the screen used to catch lint, and in the dryer it looses so much fiber that you have to clean the filter several times before it is dry. I would not purchase another on of these items.

Didn’t Last Long
I purchased three in October 2022 but in less than a year, the edges were fraying. I carefully trimmed off the threads and hoped for the best. Fast forward to November 2024, the rugs’ edgings have continued to fray and now have an unsightly raggedy look that is past trimming. I have the same rug in a powder room purchased years earlier that look newer than these. II will not be replacing with LL Bean bathroom rugs as they seem to be getting more poorly made by each vendor. Photographs were not accepted by review form.
