Mid-Blue Color is Off
Nice quality pillow cases. Only disappointment is the color. I ordered mid-blue color and it isn't close to the color shown in the catalog or on-line.

Odd discoloration
Although I use no gels or creams, oils, or elixirs on my hair - what there is of it - nor my face, I find that the cases darken where I lay my head. Regular use of Oxyclean removes it until the next time I sleep on them. Otherwise, I love the fabric.

Sheeting is on the thin side
Thread count used to be a good measure of quality and durability, but not anymore. Modern equipment can spin yarn that is thin, but still strong enough to weave into fabric. So you can have a high thread count, but still have a skimpy fabric. These sheets are just “OK”; they have a slick, skimpiness to them. Just OK, not really nice.

Crisp and Smooth
I was dubious but read good reviews so I tried these. I usually keep my sheets until they tear because they get so soft over the years and I love that. But I had some that never fit right so I indulged. I’m thrilled with these. A few washings and they are old friends, soft but crisp in just the right way so they look fresh but are neither scratchy nor crushed looking. The pillowcase is always the big test because your face lands there, these passed with flying colors.

Cool and comfortable
As mentioned in a prior review, these pillow cases (and sheets) and comfortable and cool, particularly during hot weather. I plan to use them year round. Like the thread count of 280. NYT Wirecutter recommends as does this author/buyer. Plan to purchase more!

Great Pillow Cases
What can I say, LL Bean bedding is the best. All bedding is long lasting, fitted sheets cover thick mattresses, and look attractive on the bed. Always a good idea to have extra pillow cases.
