Classic look and feel
The fit is really good but the legs are very loose. Could be tighter.

Nice Shorts But Minor Negatives
Reasonably good shorts, material is substantial and they look good. Belt loops are just a touch small for a thick one inch belt, and the button is plastic and stitched on (a rivet-type metal button would be much better).

Need 8” inseam
LL Bean used to offer 8” inseam cargo shorts years ago. Not sure why they don’t anymore. We have had to to elsewhere to get 8” length but would prefer LL Bean to start making 8” inseam again.

Too short
My husband loved everything about these shorts, but the 6" inseam is just too short. At 5'8", the 10" is much too long, so an 8" inseam would be just perfect. We would love to see L. L. Bean offer the 8" inseam in these shorts.

They'll do until I find better
I like the fit, but the material, although cotton, is not soft and relaxed like cotton. It's kind of thin and feels like it has maybe waterproofing on it.

Favorite shorts
I love these shorts for the comfortable fit and the pockets. The bottom pockets are deep enough and wide enough to hold most everything I have to carry.

Oh well..
Dis appointed in material in these shorts.. material is so thin you can almost see through them…. Not the Bean quality ive been used to for 50 years… especially at the price
