For nearly 90 years, we've been making our authentic Scotch Plaid flannel shirts the way we always have: better than everyone else's. Our exclusive flannel fabric is meticulously woven with longer-staple cotton, which means the individual cotton fibers are about one-quarter inch longer than short-staple fibers, making a huge difference in fabric strength and quality. Then, it's meticulously brushed eight times on each side and given a "touch test" by a master weaver to declare it soft enough.

This shirt brings me back in time
I haven't had an LL Bean flannel shirt in years... not sure why. But I had them when I was young as my Mom bought them for me and my four siblings for Christmas... flannels and chamois cloth shirts that lasted for many years and brought me great comfort. I am glad I bought this shirt and just the other day ordered the same thing in Grey Stewart.

Sizing is off; feels cheap
Two problems with the shirt: the sizing does not seem accurate (ordered a Small and I'm still swimming in it) and the material looks/feels cheap.
Has the very distinct feel of mass-produced disposable fashion

Who Doesn't Like Flannel?
Excellent flannel shirt. Fits well. Is super soft. Has a great Scottish plaid pattern and rich colors.
