Nice Shoulder Season Headgear
Waxed cotton washable hat is warm for fall, spring, and not-so-cold winter days. Nice for rain and snow, too. I have a Bean waxed cotton unstructured fedora type hat, too, but this is great when I want similar protection in a more casual setting.

Great hat!
This is a great hat, fits well (not too deep), looks good and the combo of waxed canvas and wool keeps my bald head warm but not to the point of overheating.

Great cool weather hat
I've had this hat for a little over a month, and it's indispensable. It's great from the low 50's down to the mid 30s, with some ear warmers it's good down to the high 20s. And the waxed cotton keeps me dry in the rain and snow. I've seen some complaints about sizing, I've worn a 7 1/4 patrol cap for nearly two decades, this fits perfectly and there's still plenty of slack on the adjustable leather strap.
