Fine, tailored classic striped linen blouse
I own several linen button down blouses. My favorites have been by Eileen Fisher, until I ordered this one, in Seaboard Blue, size Medium. I am 5'5", 130 pounds. It is a relaxed fit on me. I plan to buy another one, in another color, in small. The linen fabric is exquisite, being crisp, not rough (to me). It is well tailored and holds up well in sweltering heat. It dresses up anything I wear it with: jeans, skort, long skirt. LL Bean, please make this in other colors, specifically green stripes. Thank you!

Should Not Have Left the Design Room...
I've been wanting a couple of basic, linen shirts for a while now and decided to try this one out, when it was on sale. The fabric and striped design were nice--but, that's where the good part stops. Who is the fit model for this shirt??? The neck is HUGE. It is tight across the back, due to lack of a deep-enough box pleat. The arms do not fit well because the sleeve is too tight and not long enough. The cuff of the sleeve should also have 2 buttons on each cuff--like a standard mens' shirt. With regard to the body of the shirt, I mentioned that the upper back was too tight--but, along with the tight upper back, the shirt A-lines slightly away from the body, from the bust down. This gives the shirt a "slight maternity look." Which, at 62 years old, I do not appreciate. Very disappointing. LL Bean should stick to the basics--NOT the TRENDS!!! (Finally, the fit is both TOO SMALL and TOO LARGE--but even the review guidelines do not allow for accuracy...)
