Nothing like the sweatpants they replaced
LL Bean used to offer a really nice women's straight leg sweatpant called the 1912 Sweatpant. I have a pair that I bought in 2024 and wanted to get another pair this year. These are not those sweatpants and really shouldn't even be called sweats. The fabric is thin and cheap feeling. It's a shame when a quality item is replaced with something of lesser quality.

Not the same, poor quality
I have been buying these for years. And the latest pair is very thin and started to ball up after just a couple of washes. They don't even feel like they're a hundred percent cotton, feels like there's a little bit of polyester in there. It's not common that I'm unhappy with something from l.L bean. And the review is only being left, hoping that they will see this and the other reviews that are similar and bring back these pants the way they used to be for the last several years. Nobody's perfect, but ll bean is pretty close. Needless to say they were returned.

These are very comfy but they would be a lot more flattering without the bulk of pockets. It would be great to have a flatter fit, as flatter is more flattering, lol.

These are not sweat pants
I love my cozy, comfortable, and well-fitting gray sweat pants. I recently ordered the same product in navy, The fabric has been changed and these pants no longer qualify as sweat pants - NOT soft and cozy inside. I returned them today.

So Comfy!
Love these sweatpants. They are comfortably loose without being baggy, the fabric is very soft and not too heavy in weight. It is easier to get out of bed on a chilly morning when I know that I can climb into these pants!

Fabric too thin

Wish I could give these more stars!
I already had light grey and navy and really liked the new blue color, which I ordered. Most sweatpants look frumpy and the hips and backside are too large for me. These are soft, the nice weight, and fit perfectly. Thankfully, they are a tad longer than the grey ones (the same length as the navy pair) and are perfect. So often the medium tall are on the short side (33” inseam). Also, for me L.L. Bean tends to run on the small size, but medium were spot on.
