Highly recommended
Great little boots! This is our second pair, the first were outgrown. The traction and support are very good, the laces stay tied. Maybe most importantly, there's no painful break- in stage. They fit well and comfortably on the first wear. Also, light enough for everyday wear, not just hikes.

Cute Hiking Boot
Fantastic hiking shoe. We purchased the pink and tan color and they were great in person. We are just learning to tie shoes, so an elastic lace option would be nice in the future. The quality was excellent and should be great for a younger sibling to use in the future.

Great shoe, couple of glaring issues
Great Durable shoe, with good support for kids feet. One of the only such shoes that's somewhat affordable on the market, and believe me, I've searched them all. Unfortunately, the shoe strings come untied constantly, even with double knots. This is very frustrating for my kids. Also, they went out of stock and there are no other similar shoe lines available by LL bean. Make a couple of tweaks and you should sell alot more shoes.

Water proof and very durable!
Great for wearing when it is raining out! Feet stay nice and dry! The shoe has a very cushioning inside, is not heavy like a boot to wear, and is great to wear on your feet if you have to stand a lot. I am able to wear this shoe daily, and like it more and more for the durability!
