Best shoe wrong colors!
The fit and support are outstanding! I don't like the ridiculous colors that have been offered for a long time now. The colors are not practical and they don't go with anything. Who wants to plan what they wear around a shoe color? I have an older pair of brown Hiker's that I love. They go with everything. I have had people stop me in Whole Foods and ask where ever did I find them as that is exactly what they want. I have to tell them that they are no longer being offered. The people who choose the colors must not be true outdoor people. The guys get great colors, let the women have them too!

Just what I needed!
I had never owned hiking boots or shoes, but I needed something sturdy and warm for a trip to Iceland. These were perfect. I wore only these shoes for 12 hours a day for 7 days. They were comfortable and provided the traction and sturdiness needed to walk/hike on rough and icy surfaces.

Women's Trail Model Hiker 4 Low
Generally I like these and am glad I purchased them. They're a bit stiff and one upper edge kept rubbing starting a blister but with thick socks it's not an issue. I really like the super tough toe area. A good rugged shoe for general trail hiking and walking. They are low so will not provide ankle support if you need it.

Just what I was looking for.
This morning I took the hikers out of the box and put them on with medium weight socks. I then went out for a walk. No break in was needed. Decent traction. And for hiking shoes they are cute!

Great fit + traction
I hiked Acadia in these and I'm so glad I had them.
My feet felt great the whole time: no slipping, no blisters, just cool and comfortable. I didn't have to break them in or add an insole.
They gave me gecko grip: I consistently had better traction on wet and steep rocks than those around me.
Very sturdy feel and the outside is quite resistant to scuffing or abrasion.
