Couldn't be Happier
I honestly think LLBean produced the perfect light trail shoe in the Model 4. Sturdy and well-built, light weight, breathable, and nicely cushioned for all day on the trail. Priced as a great value to boot. I switched from a trail running sneaker for light hiking to the Model 4 and will never look back.

Awesome shoe!
I found the shoe to be very comfortable, waterproof and simply a joy to walk in. It definitely beats tennis shoes if you have snow or rain or mud that you might encounter while walking.
