Warm and Snuggly
My daughter loves this sweater fleece and has it in three colors now. She is ALWAYS cold throughout the winter and these fleece tops are perfect for her. With just a tee underneath, she is plenty warm and very happy. They wash beautifully in cold water and I hang them to dry. They look brand new even after several washings, and they do not snag when our cat decides she needs to snuggle in it also!! The only issue that my daughter and I have noticed is that the sleeve openings run wide for a slim wristed kid, so she sometimes notices a draft up her sleeves. A long sleeve tee underneath usually solves this problem and is not a big enough issue to keep her from loving this fleece. Maybe the cuffs are loose so that they can be turned up for kids who have not grown into them yet. A great purchase nonetheless.

Perfect!
The Sweater Fleece pullover is nicely made, cozy and a pleasing color. The size has room enough for another year of wear. A few years ago, I purchased the same but for teen-age granddaughters and was pleased with those also. L.L. Bean is my "go-to" for quality clothing!

Perfect!
I purchased this Sweater Fleece for my 9 1/2 year-old grandson. It fits perfectly and is toasty warm in the house with just a T-shirt underneath. It washes well, doesn't shrink, and holds its shape nicely. The quality is excellent. I highly recommend this fleece.

sleeves could be longer, but really REALLY warm!
For starters, I’m a smaller adult who prefers the straight cut of kids’ jackets/tops over the weird cut they give to similar items in women’s. I normally wear a L in LL Bean’s boys’ tops, but I sized up to an XL based on another review that said the sleeves ran short. I tend to agree; I have short arms for my height, and yet the XL is oversized on me in all respects but the sleeves. I would still prefer the sleeves to be a tad longer, but it’s so well made, cozy, and very, very warm that it was worth keeping. I wore it under jacket to go grocery shopping in 25 degree weather and had to take it off, I was so warm. The collar also makes it just (barely) wearable for Zoom meetings! I’m not taking any stars off for the sleeve length issue, given that I’m an adult and I don’t know that it would be a problem for actual children.

Daughter loves it!

I bought 2 items for my daughter, 5years/38lbs/40.5inches, considering she will outgrow, so I ordered little kids Large 6X-7 one size up, which can put several layers underneath! Good quality and nice color! my daughter totally loves it and most important is that very warm.
