Premium flannel, great for layering
I've been wearing this flannel every day since receiving it.
The fleece is soft, warm, and light. The outer flannel shell is well-made, flexible, and overall a nice pattern. The addition of large, lined pockets for your hands is also a major plus for me.
This flannel is rugged where it matters, and warm where it counts.
Regardless of if you are wearing base layers beneath or wearing a heavier coat over it, it keeps heat in and doesn't bog you down.

disappointed with the change
My husband has four of these shirts from previous years and they are his absolute favorites. We were both disappointed to see that this year you changed from snaps to buttons. Why change a perfect shirt?

I’m very happy to finally find a shirt/ jacket.
I have been looking for a flannel shirt jacket for two years to replace my son’s old one. Last year all the shirts /jackets had snap closures. He doesn’t like the snaps. I finally found some in the LL Bean catalog. I was really surprised they had them. I ordered a tall 2X that had buttons. I’m very pleased with this purchase.I hope they continue to make them because no one else has them.

Comfortable, looks great, but runs a little big!
I originally ordered an XL Tall but these apparently run a little big so I sent it back and ordered a Large Tall and now it fits good. The fleece lining is very comfortable and keeps you warm if you’re gonna be in cooler air. I particularly also like the Black Watch plaid. Definitely recommended.

Warm and breathes
Perfectly warm and breathes very well. I can wear this out in the teens with a hat and boots and be pretty comfortable.
