For nearly 90 years, we've been making our authentic Scotch Plaid flannel shirts the way we always have: better than everyone else's. Our exclusive flannel fabric is meticulously woven with longer-staple cotton, which means the individual cotton fibers are about one-quarter inch longer than short-staple fibers, making a huge difference in fabric strength and quality. Then, it's meticulously brushed eight times on each side and given a "touch test" by a master weaver to declare it soft enough.

Great cool weather shirts
I have a half dozen of Bean’s flannel shirts and wear one just about every day from November through March. They’re warm, comfortable, and stylish. I’m tough to fit so I appreciate that most of the flannel shirts are available in a medium tall size.

Manley looking shirt
I ordered this shirt for my son. It looks and feels terrific. The slightly fitted is not too much nor too little, as it gives just the right shape so its not big and boxy but not boxy looking. The color is bright but goes with a lot. Fits great on a 6 ft 3 inch guy, slim build. He wears it to work and around the home.

Just like Clark used to wear
Nice flannel shirt. The regular XL was very big around the middle so I returned it for the slightly fitted and it fits much better but still a little large. If you’re a bigger guy with a more athletic build and smaller waist the fitted is the way to go. Color and softness are nice as well. Bonus - you can have the same shirt as Clark Griswold in Christmas Vacation!
