Lovely pants, but fabric doesn't last even 2 years
I love the look of these pants, simple and elegant - for the first winter that I wear them. By the second winter, the knees are getting baggy, & the rest of the fabric is starting to wear thin at the knees and the seat. By the end of the second winter, the knees are so baggy and the fabric so worn that they're downright unflattering. (Once I paid a tailor to make the legs narrower, but it didn't fix the baggy-knees problem.) Meanwhile, nobody else seems to make pants in this style. So I just buy a new pair every two years. But really, I wish LL Bean could return to its fabric quality from the 'old days'!

My favorite winter pants.
They are super comfy and warm. I have all colors, but have recently lost weight and needed a smaller size. Sadly, it was too late in the season to get more in XS. If they are available in your size, my advice is to buy them!

Comfortable, easy pants
I really like these pants. The style is very comfortable and they fit true to size. I bought the brown color and it’s a nice, medium brown I can wear with may other colors. I deducted one star because at times, the fabric felt a little scratchy, but I’m hoping this will go away after a washing or two.

Happy old lady
You swapped my too long pants for petite and I can’t thank you enough. Also, I received the refund on the other pants. I wanted to try this size before I caused more back and for thing. FYI: aging shrinks some of us, so our idea of size needs to be amended. (Goodby size 8, 29 1/2 length.)
