Good jacket
Nice jacket, comfortable and warmer than expected. Only downside is the zipper, consistently difficult to get started.

No, it’s NOT down filled.
I wanted a down coat to replace my previous down coat, but unfortunately this coat is filled with a heavier down substitute. It does have a cotton outer cloth instead of synthetic, which I like. Oddly, it has three pockets on each side, all of which are too small to hold one’s gloves. So, expect that your gloves will stick out and likely fall out.

Great Jacket -- 'cept for the zipper
Been wearing this jacket for a few months here in Toronto. Like it a lot. Ezpecially like the tab collar. Couple of points. 1. there is a weird yoke sown in the liner at the back that makes me sweat. it's very odd. 2. as others have noted the zipper is ridiculously small and finicky. Still worth money,but only 4 * because of these 2 issues

Good Winter Jacket
Great Jacket! Warm, comfortable and very functional. I do wish they had used a better quality and larger zipper for the jacket, but so far no problems. Also, the snap pockets could be a little large. They are great for leather work gloves but tight for winter gloves. Overall I think this is a good winter jacket.

Solid Winter Jacket That Looks Good
This a replacement jacket for my first one that last about four years before it started developing small holes near elbow and the cuff started fraying. I like the jacket a lot. Fits well. Is warm. Repels water. Looks good. I hope this one holds up better than the first. I have never had trouble with my LL Bean clothing/jackets in the past. They all held up really well for many years. This was the exception.

Very Good But Could Be Improved
Overall, I like this jacket a lot. It is very warm and stylish. However there are some ways it could be improved. I would suggest: (1) The jacket is great to just walk around in, but there is too much insulation in the sleeves, limiting the range of motion when trying to do anything active including driving while wearing the jacket. (2) There is one small inside pocket. It would be nice to have another, larger inside pocket. (3) The body of the jacket needs to be just a little bit longer in Regular, not much, just an inch or two. (I know you can order it in Tall, but that would make the sleeves too long) (4) The zipper could be a little more substantial.
