I have all colors in this hiking pant and love them all. I wore them on my trips to Switzerland and Costa Rica and they were great. If they get wet they dry quickly and they are cool to wear.

Almost Perfect
I've ordered several of these pants over the years and would give them 5 stars - they fit well, great pockets, and cool in the summer. I recently ordered a new color and they've changed how the LLBean label on the back waistband has been attached - it now seems to have plastic along the edges of the label where it is sewn and can no longer be removed. I am a sewer and have tried with my seam ripper but it won't come off - my older pants I was able to rip the stitching fairly easily but not these new ones. The waistband label is extremely irritating on my skin and gives me a rash. Your tops are tag-less, I wish your pants would be too! At a minimum, please consider moving the tag a bit lower and attach it to the waistband seam so it is free-hanging and could instead be easily cut off (like you can do with the washing instruction labels you have on the side seams of all your garments).

They fit great but they let me down
I bought these a few years ago and have worn them a lot. Nothing different from any other Bean purchase. Except that these fell short of my expectations. Early on, they started pilling. No big deal, more of an aesthetic than functional issue.
I took them to Europe and wore them a lot on our tour. Sadly, the leg ties tore loose halfway thorough the trip. Since I only had two pair of pants with me, I rigged up the other end of the tie and just looped it around my ankle. That worked, but I had to untie it to get my pants off at the end of the day.
I have high expectations of all clothes I buy from LL Bean and I'm still wearing items I purchased in the 90s. These really fell short of my expectations and left me in a bit of a bind on my trip.

Great except for the knee seam
This is second pair of Vista Camp pants. I love them for hiking and everyday errands. My one issue is the seam on the mid leg lands directly at the knee not above. I’m not a short woman. If I am not careful to pull up the legs when I sit, the threads at the knee break from the tension. My other pair is 3 years old and has held up well aside from the knee issue.
