Not the same quality as blankets sold before
I bought this to replace the wool blanket I had purchased from LL Bean years ago. I had planned to give the old blanket to my daughter. This new blanket, however, is nowhere near the quality of the old blanket. I plan to give this new one to my daughter and keep the old one.

Unexpected, unacceptable shrinkage
Out of normally stellar reviews for all things Bean for decades, I’m very disappointed with this blanket. Laundered exactly according to directions and the shrinkage is massive. No longer hangs on our king bed, just barely covers the top area of the mattress. What’s worse is that it shrunk unevenly and now looks very sloppy on the bed because it can’t be smoothed to lie flat. Other than that, I really like the color and weave. I’m willing to put up with it since wool is a wonderful, natural fabric and resource.
